A new exchange of prisoners took place on Dec. 6, with 60 Ukrainian servicemen, including defenders of Mariupol and prisoners of Olenivka, released from Russian captivity, head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak said on Telegram on Dec. 6.

“On the (National) Day of the Armed Forces, 60 soldiers of the armed forces, the National Guard, and the DSPS (Board Guard Service) — 58 men and two women, 15 officers and 45 privates and sergeants — are returning home,” Yermak wrote.

Among those liberated were 34 defenders of Mariupol and Azovstal, Yermak noted.
