The next three months will be very active and decisive in Russia’s war against Ukraine, the head of the Ukrainian military intelligence services or HUR, General Kyrylo Budanov, said in an interview with Voice of America published on Feb. 27.

"They (coming months) are going to be pretty active.,” Budanov said.

“Rather, very active, and decisive for the further course of events. There will be intense combat... Yes, they are coming. They will try (to fight actively) from their side, and we also will do it from our side.”

Budanov said Ukraine needs more supplies of weapons to turn the tide of the war – mostly those weapons Ukraine is already getting, but with the addition of attack aircraft.

He said that Russia isn't ready for long-lasting fighting due to its rather limited resources.

Earlier, on Feb. 23, the HUR head said that Russia would be forced to withdraw its troops from Ukraine.
