Invading Russian forces shelled the town of Novy Buh in Mykolaiv Oblast, injuring at least 9 people, including two children, regional governor Vitaliy Kim stated on Aug. 24.
The shelling occurred a about 4:30 a.m., causing a fire to break out on the roof of a two-story residential building and damaging several other houses.
In addition, at about 1:00 p.m., the village of Yavkin Starostinsky was also shelled, with several houses damaged. There were no reports of casualties.
The villages of Vysunsk and Bereznehuvate were also shelled around this time, causing fires to break out. Information about possible victims has not yet been made available.
