Nearly one in three Kyiv residents are still without heating more than 24 hours after Russia’s latest mass missile and drone attack, the Kyiv military administration reported on Telegram on March 10.
"Heat supply is being restored,” the administration stated.
“As of 7:50 a.m., 30% of consumers are without heat. The restoration worked through the night and is continuing right now.”
Authorities noted that there are currently no power outages in the city, and water supply is functioning normally.
Invading Russian forces conducted a strike on Kyiv in the early hours of March 9, launching Iranian-made Shahed suicide drones and a variety of missiles.
Kyiv air defense forces intercepted all but one of the drones and missiles, believed to be a Kinzhal hypersonic ballistic missile. As a result, a crucial infrastructure facility was hit in Holosyivskyi district of the capital.
The fragments of another intercepted missile fell in the Svyatoshinskyi district. Three people were injured, with two taken to hospital. Several cars were set on fire and windows shattered in nearby buildings.
Part of the city was left without power and heating.
