Number of victims of Russian missile attack on Zaporizhzhya rises to 14 people

Fourteen people have now died as a result of a Russian missile attack on the city Zaporizhzhya on Oct. 6, the secretary of the Zaporizhzhya City Council, Anatoly Kurtev, reported on Telegram messenger on Oct. 7.
"We continue to receive dreadful news from those clearing the rubble of the buildings affected by (the Oct. 6) attack. Currently, the number of dead has increased to fourteen,” Kurtev wrote.
The Russians carried out a new attack with drones at night, he added. This resulted in damage to infrastructure facilities. And in the morning, the Russians fired rockets at a residential quarter.
“One of the rockets fell right next to a high-rise building and damaged windows and balconies,” Kurtev wrote.
On the morning of Oct. 6, Russia fired seven missiles at Zaporizhzhya, destroying several residential buildings.
