One civilian injured as Russia attacks Dnipropetrovsk Oblast overnight, says governor

One civilian was injured in the town of Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast asRussian troops attacked three territorial communities overnight on Nov. 21, Dnipropetrovsk Governor Valentyn Reznichenko has said in a Telegram messenger post.

Reznichenko said the Russians fired about 60 rockets from Grad multiple launch rocket systems and fired heavy artillery at the Nikopol, Marhanets and Myrivske territorial communities.

A 78-year-old man was wounded in Nikopol as a result of the enemy attacks. He was provided with medical assistance.

Private houses, a boat and cars were also damaged in the town, Reznichenko said.

At the same time, there were no casualties in the Myrivske and Marhanets territorial communities. The details of the Russian attacks are being clarified.

Russian troops are constantly attacking various settlements in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, targeting civilian properties.

A total of 20 high-rise buildings and private houses, about 10 commercial buildings, cars, and a college were damaged as a result of attacks on Nikopol on Nov. 17.

That same day, Russia attacked the city of Dnipro, hitting two local districts. In total, 23 people were injured, including a 15-year-old girl. A fire also broke out at an industrial enterprise.

In addition, over 40 shells were fired at Nikopol on Nov. 18.
