The ratio of domestic-made and foreign military equipment used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine is currently 3-to-1, UkrOboronProm spokesperson Natalia Sad told Ukrainian TV broadcasters on April 24.
According to Sad, the suggestion that Ukrainian defenders mostly use Western technology on the battlefield is false. The majority of weapons and equipment were developed domestically before the start of full-scale war and were kept in fighting condition by the Ukrainian defense industry.
"We continue to fight with the weapons and equipment that we have and that have arrived during the full-scale invasion," the spokesperson added.
On April 21, the 11th meeting of Ukraine’s international partners – the Ukraine Defense Contact Group – was held at the Ramstein U.S. Air Base in Germany.
U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin stated that Ukraine has received $55 billion worth of weapons from its Ramstein partners, to date.
