Russia loses over 1,000 troops in Ukraine in past day

Since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, Russia has lost nearly 158,000 soldiers, including 1,010 killed by Ukrainian forces in the past day, the Ukrainian military’s General Staff reported on Facebook on March 11.

The enemy’s total losses over the 381 days of the full-scale war from Feb. 24, 2022 to March 11, 2023 approximately amounted to:

  • troops: about 158,000 (+1,010)
  • main battle tanks: 3,458 (+10)
  • APCs and IFVs: 6,762 (+20)
  • barrelled artillery: 2,483 (+8)
  • MLRS: 493 (+2)
  • anti-air defense systems: 257 (+1)
  • warplanes: 304 (+0)
  • helicopters: 289 (+0)
  • UAVs at the tactical operations level: 2,108 (+1)
  • cruise missiles: 907 (+0)
  • warships/boats: 18 (+0)
  • supply and fuel trucks: 5,344 (+7)
  • specialized military equipment: 242 (+2).
