Over 8,500 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Ukraine, another 188 dead

Over the past day Ukraine recorded 8,558 new COVID-19 cases, while 5,761 people recovered from the disease and 188 died of it, according to official data from the Ukrainian Ministry of Health. 

A total of 1,125 patients have been hospitalized for treatment.

·       Kharkiv Oblast - 678;

·       Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast - 640;

·       Chernivtsi Oblast - 475;

·       Poltava Oblast - 473;

No data is available for the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the non-government-controlled parts of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, and Sevastopol.

In total, for the entire duration of the pandemic in Ukraine, 3,768,088 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19, of whom 3,561,923 have recovered, and 98,549 have died.
