Part of apartment block collapses in Kyiv following another attack by Russian invaders
A residential building in Shevchenkivsky District in Kyiv partially collapsed on the morning of March 16, the local department of the State Emergency Service reported
At the scene, rescuers discovered that shell fragments had hit a 12-story residential building, with the 12th and technical floors above having collapsed. A neighboring 9-story building was also partially damaged.
Rescuers immediately began to evacuate residents from the building and put out isolated fires in the building.
Eight basic and special fire and rescue teams attended the incident, along with 35 personnel.
According to early reports, two people were injured, and 35 were evacuated.
