Poland plans to transfer the next batch of 10 German-made Leopard 2 battle tanks to Ukraine within a few weeks, Polish news agency PAP reported on Feb. 26, citing the head of the Polish Prime Minister’sOffice, Michał Dworczyk.

According to the official, the transfer of these tanks will take place immediately after the Ukrainian forces finish training on them. Some of these Leopard tanks are being used to in that training, he added.

“This is a perspective of several weeks,” Dworczyk said.

He added that Poland would also transfer Polish-made PT-91 and Soviet T-72 tanks to Ukraine soon.
