Polish, Czech and Slovenian PMs to visit Kyiv on March 15

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the National Security and Defense Committee Jarosław Kaczyński, together with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala and Prime Minister of Slovenia Janez Janša, will arrive in the Ukrainian capital city of Kyiv on March 15, the Chancellery of the Polish Prime Minister reported on its website.

They will be meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal as a show of support for Ukraine.

"The purpose of the visit is to confirm the unequivocal support of the entire European Union for the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine," the statement reads.

The visit was organized in consultation with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

It is noted that the visit is also aimed at presenting a broad package of aid for Ukraine amid the ongoing devastation caused by the Russian invasion of the country.
