Ukrainian big business together with Polish-German Charity Fund launches initiative to help Ukrainian refugees and Ukrainians in need

2 March 2022, 07:52 PM

As the Ukrainian people continue to fight the Russian invasion, it is immediately clear that they will need support - especially for those women and children fleeing the war, leaving their lives behind.

Sometimes, they’ve been forced to run from the war so quickly they didn’t even have enough time to take their personal belongings.

Supply chains of most essential goods have been disrupted throughout the country due to heavy fighting. Nearly all the shops and pharmacies are closed due to a constant risk of Russian airstrikes.

To help those Ukrainians in need, the Ernst Prost Foundation People for Peace - Peace for People, a joint initiative between Poland and Germany, has joined the charity initiative “Help Ukraine”.

“We received a list of requirements from the Territorial Defense Forces and from the Ministry of Health,” the People for Peace fund said in a statement.

The fund is accepting donations to purchase medicines and other essential humanitarian products in Europe.  All humanitarian aid will be delivered to regions that need it the most, in cooperation with our partners: the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, ROZETKA, Fozzy Group, TIS, Nova Poshta, Dragon Capital, Spunbond fund, and Ukrposhta.
