President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen visited wounded Ukrainian defenders in a hospital in Mykolaiv, according to a message on the president’s Telegram channel posted on Jan. 30.

"It is important that our soldiers are able to undergo not only physical but also psychological rehabilitation," the message says.

Zelenskyy thanked all medical workers who oversee the recovery of Ukraine's defenders.

"I wish you a speedy recovery!" he wrote to the soldiers.

The President's Office noted that on Jan. 30 Zelenskyy and Frederiksen visited the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv, as Denmark is the patron of the city's restoration.

The Ukrainian leader and the head of the Danish government inspected the building of the Mykolaiv Oblast Military Administration, which was partially destroyed by a Russian missile attack on March 29, 2022 that claimed the lives of 37 people.

Zelenskyy and Frederiksen also visited the Mykolaiv Commercial Sea Port and inspected oil storage tanks that were destroyed by the enemy missile and drone attacks.

In addition, they visited an individual heating point equipped with a water purification and distribution unit.
