Prince William held a meeting with Polish President Andrzej Duda in Warsaw, Poland, on March 23, to discuss Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.
The Prince of Wales’ visit will strengthen Polish-British relations, said Duda as reported by the President’s Office.
Both sides discussed humanitarian aid to Ukraine and the importance of its further support.
The prince also thanked the Poles for their “generosity and hospitality,” adding that he was looking forward to seeing Duda and the First Lady during the coronation of King Charles in London in May.
Prince William made an unannounced trip to Poland on March 22, where he met with UK and Polish soldiers while visiting the base of the 3rd Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces in Rzeszów.
The heir to the British throne also met with Ukrainian refugees while in Poland.
