Rescuers defuse two 500-kg aircraft bombs in Odesa Oblast

The press service of the State Emergency Service reports extracting and destroying two FAB-500 aircraft bombs. The shells were dropped by the Russian military during one of the attacks on the region.

"After one of the air attacks on the region, two FAB-500 bombs were found in Odesa district, which did not detonate. As per the established procedure, the bomb was destroyed in a specially designated place," rescuers said.
FAB-500 is a USSR-developed 500-kilogram general-purpose air-dropped bomb with a high-explosive warhead, used by the Russian Air Force.
