Russian forces continue to abduct civilians from occupied areas of Kherson Oblast, Deputy Chair of Kherson Regional Council Yuriy Sobolevskyi reported via Telegram on Nov. 28.
He said more settlements are put under increased pressure by Russian troops.
“Not many people are really willing to leave, after they've seen the western part of Kherson Oblast getting liberated at a good pace,” said Sobolevskyi.
“Many people leave of their own accord, (going) through (occupied) Crimea to other countries.”
Ukraine’s Operational Command South earlier reported that Russian commanders now realize they are not capable of defending the eastern bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson Oblast.
