In a horrific scene, Russia’s invading forces attacked a busy market in Kostyantynivka, Donetsk Oblast with a brutal ballistic missile strike that killed 16 civilians – including a child – in the afternoon of Sept. 6, reported Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

At least 20 people have been injured.

"At this moment, Russian terrorists' artillery killed 16 people in the city of Kostyantynivka, Donetsk Oblast. It was just an ordinary market. Shops. A pharmacy. Innocent people," he wrote.

He added that many others sustained injuries and the number of casualties may rise further.
