Kamikaze drone strike on Bila Tserkva: infrastructure damaged, fire put out

Three infrastructure facilities were damaged and one person was injured in the city of Bila Tserkva in Kyiv Oblast as a result of a Russian kamikaze drone attack, Kyiv regional governor Oleksiy Kuleba said on national TV on Oct. 5. The fire induced by the strike has been extinguished.

"Currently, all necessary safety measures have been taken and the fire, which arose as a result of six hits of kamikaze drones, has been extinguished,” he said.

“In total, three infrastructure facilities were damaged.”

The official added that the life of the victim in the attack is not in danger.

Schools in Bila Tserkva have switched to remote education at the moment.

A total of six hits and six explosions were recorded.
