Russia attacks Pavlohrad with missiles at night, killing one person and injuring another seven

The Russian military launched a missile attack on the city of Pavlohrad in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast overnight on Feb. 16, killing a woman and injuring another seven civilians, regional governor Serhiy Lysak reported on Telegram.
The governor wrote that a 79-year-old woman was killed. Two injured civilians were taken to hospital, where doctors said their condition was moderate.
An industrial facility was hit in the attack. A fire broke out there, but it has already been extinguished, the governor said.
In addition, seven houses were destroyed and another 30 damaged as a result of the Russian missile strike. Reports of other damage from the attack are being verified.
Russia carried out another barrage of missile and drone strikes against Ukraine in the early hours of Feb. 16. The Ukrainian Air force said 36 air- and sea-based missiles were launched, including Kalibr missiles, with a total of 16 missiles being intercepted by Ukrainian air defenses.
An energy infrastructure facility was damaged in Lviv Oblast as a result of the attack.
