Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko ruled out the possibility of sending the Belarusian troops to fight against Ukraine on Nov. 4.

At the same time, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has been firing its missiles at Ukraine from the territory of Belarus.

Throughout the war, Russia has been using Belarus as staging grounds to first invade northern Ukraine in February-March, and subsequently – to launch air and drone strikes at Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure.

However, on Oct. 4, Lukashenko admitted that Belarus is involved in the war against Ukraine: "As for our participation in the special military operation in Ukraine – we are taking part in it,” he said.

“We do not hide it. But we do not kill anyone. We do not send our military anywhere.”
