Russia has again attacked the densely-populated Oleksiivka district of Kharkiv with artillery, injuring two civilians, head of the regional administration, Oleh Synehubov, said during an interview on Ukrainian TV on June 7.

“Just 10 minutes ago, housing in Oleksiivka was hit by two artillery strikes; preliminary reports suggest two people were injured, but we’re yet to confirm that,” said Synehubov.

He added that Kharkiv isn’t completely safe yet, as the invading Russian forces can still reach the city with their artillery.

“Unfortunately, the enemy is still within their weapons range of the city,” said the official.

“This threatens civilians exclusively. It’s still unsafe to be outside: any house, any district, any playground can get hit at any time.”
