The invading Russian military command in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk Oblast plans to recruit university students to fight on the Russian side, Ukraine’s General Staff has reported.

The invaders appear to have run out of people to mobilize for their war, the Ukrainian General Staff said. Recruiting civilians in occupied territories is a violation of the Geneva conventions on the laws of war.

In addition, according to available information, in order to replenish the losses of the 107th Rifle Battalion, which amounted to more than 50%, reinforcements consisting of 260 servicemen who were previously involved in fighting around Kharkiv have arrived in the settlement of Oleksandrivka in Kherson Oblast, Ukraine’s General Staff said.
