“Since Feb. 24, the Russian military has launched a total of 1,474 missile strikes in Ukraine, using 2,275 different missiles,” Zelensky said.

“In most cases (the targets were) civilian objects. In less than three months, there have been more than 3,000 air strikes by Russian aircraft and helicopters. What other country invented such a scale of strikes?”

The president said Ukraine's partners understand that the struggle against the Russian invaders “is to protect the common values of all countries in the free world, and (our) shared freedom.”

“And if so, then we have the right to count on full and urgent assistance, especially weapons,” Zelensky went on.

“All of my international negotiations, every address to the parliaments of countries or other foreign audiences is necessarily related to this topic. I’m grateful to all those partners who are helping, and providing us with the necessary weapons and ammunition to overcome Russia's advantage in the amount of equipment and weapons.”
