Invading Russian forces have fired more than 3,800 missiles at Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated in his evening address on Sept. 15.

The President noted that the missiles have not brought Russia’s military goals any closer.

“The terrorist state has already used more than 3,800 different missiles against us,” Zelenskyy said.

“But not a single missile will bring Russia closer to its goal - there will be no subjugation of Ukraine.”

On Sep. 10, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said that Russia had used 60% of its existing missile stocks in its full-scale war against Ukraine, and noted that Ukraine’s air defense systems have improved and are better able to intercept Russian strikes.

Earlier, Ukrainian military intelligence spokesperson Vadym Skibitsky reported that Russia is currently suffering from a shortage of the Iskander cruise missiles, adding that Russian troops, instead of spending money on disposing of old ordnance, are simply launching obsolete missiles at Ukraine.
