Russia hits Kyiv suburb with cruise missiles
Russia has launched two Kalibr cruise missiles at the Kyiv suburb of Brovary, advisor to Ukrainian interior minister Anton Herashchenko said in a Facebook post on Feb. 24.

“One of our military structures in Brovary was just hit by two cruise missiles, according to the General Staff,” Herashchenko’s message read.
A video recording of smoke rising above the attacked compound is making rounds via social media.
Brovary mayor Ihor Sapozhko has stated that six people have died, twelve wounded as a result of the attack. The wounded have been taken to hospital.
In the early hours of Feb. 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a large-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops and armor have crossed the border, supported by artillery fire and air strikes, following numerous cruise missile strikes on military and command-and-control infrastructure all across Ukraine in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mykolaiv, and other cities.
