Russia launches airstrike on food warehouses in Brovary district outside Kyiv

Invading Russian forces have launched an airstrike on food warehouses in the Brovary district of Kyiv Oblast close to the Ukrainian capital city of Kyiv, the Prosecutor General's Office reported via the Telegram messenger on March 30.

Foodstuffs, household chemicals and other everyday goods were stored in the warehouses, it said.

Fires broke out on an area of about 20,000 square meters as a result of the airstrike.

The prosecutors have opened a criminal investigation into the incident under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of rules of the warfare).
