Invading Russian forces have launched an airstrike on an area near Lviv airport in the west of Ukraine, the Ukraine’s West Air Command reported on Facebook on March 18.

Six cruise missiles, probably Kh-555 (AS-15 Kent “C” per NATO nomenclature), were fired at a target near the western Ukrainian city of Lviv from the Black Sea, the military said.

Two of the missiles were destroyed by the Air Command's anti-aircraft missile forces.

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi announced that several of the missiles hit an aircraft repair facility, which was destroyed as a result.
