Five missiles fired at Kharkiv, killing at least one

Russian forces launched at least five missiles at Kharkiv, killing at least one civilian, regional governor Oleh Synehubov said in a Telegram post on Aug. 19.

“A college building was destroyed in (Kharkiv’s) Kyiv District, a civilian industrial facility – in Osnovyanskyi District, while two missiles struck private homes in Nemyshlyanskyi District,” said Synehubov.

“At least one woman died in the attack; she was a security guard at the destroyed college.”

Emergency services are working on site, further damage and casualty reports are still coming in.
