Russia launches fresh missile strike at city of Zaporizhzhya overnight

Invading Russian forces launched a missile attack on the city of Zaporizhzhya overnight on Dec. 2, secretary of the Zaporizhzhya City Council Anatolii Kurtiev has reported on the Telegram messenger.
“An infrastructure facility’s building is on fire as a result of enemy attack,” he said.
“The blast wave blew out windows in nearby houses.”
Kurtiev added that fire and rescue teams are working at the scene.
Reports from the city about casualties and destruction are being verified.
Russia launches nightly missile attacks on Ukrainian cities on the frontline, in particular Zaporizhzhya, Dnipro, and the recently liberated Kherson.
According to the Ukrainian defense ministry, 97% of the missile attacks launched by Russia since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine have targets civilian infrastructure, businesses, and residential areas.
