Ukrainian Air Force shoots down four Russian helicopters within 18 minutes

The Ukrainian military shot down four strike helicopters of the Russian army on Oct. 12, the Ukrainian Air Force’s press service said on Telegram.
They were downed between 8:40 AM and 8:58 AM, the department said.
The Russians reportedly lost four Ka-52 helicopters, which were used for their ground troops’ fire support in the southern axis.
According to early reports, one helicopter fell in the area liberated from the Russian occupation forces, the rest plunged behind the front line.
“There were two more helicopters being targeted, so there is a high probability that the number of the downed helicopters will increase soon," added the Air Force.
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already shot down 235 helicopters and 268 aircraft in total.
Recently, the enemy's combat aircraft losses have grown significantly. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces explained that by the fact that the Russian occupiers had been increasing the involvement of aircraft near the front line, mainly in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Kherson oblasts.
