Russia's losses in Ukraine close to 30,000, Ukraine’s General Staff says

Over the past day, invading Russian forces lost about 100 soldiers killed, Ukraine’s General Staff said on May 25. The enemy suffered the greatest losses in the Lyman area.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia’s total losses have amounted to:

  • Soldiers – about 29,450 (+100);

  • Tanks – 1,305 (+3) units;

  • Armored personnel carriers – 3,213 (+19) units;

  • Artillery systems – 606 (+0) units;

  • Air defense systems – 93 (+0) units;

  • Warplanes – 206 (+1) units;

  • Helicopters – 170 (+0) units;

  • UAV operational-tactical level – 491 (+11);

  • Warships / boats – 13 (+0) units;

  • Motor vehicles and fuel tankers – 2217 (+5) units;

  • Special equipment – 44 (+1);
