Total Russian personnel losses now exceed 29,000, according to Ukraine

Over the last 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have eliminated 200 invading Russian troops, bringing the number of troops Moscow has lost due to its invasion to above 29,000, Ukraine’s General Staff said in its daily Facebook update on May 22.

Most recent enemy losses occurred near Bakhmut, Donetsk region.

Total Russian losses since Feb. 24 are now as follows:

  • Troops - around 29,050 (+200);
  • Tanks - 1,285 (+7);
  • IFVs and IMVs - 3,141 (+25);
  • Artillery pieces - 599 (+3);
  • Multiple Rocket Launcher Systems - 201 (+0);
  • Anti-aircraft systems - 93 (+0);
  • Warplanes - 204 (+1);
  • Helicopters - 170 (+1);
  • UAVs - 470 (+8);
  • Cruise missiles - 107 (+3);
  • Ships and boats - 13 (+0);
  • Supply and fuel trucks - 2,194 (+16);
  • Specialized military equipment - 43 (+0).
