Russian missile strike at Kupyansk in Kharkiv Oblast kills woman, says governor

A woman was killed in a Russian missile strike at the town of Kupyansk in Kharkiv Oblast early on Dec. 5, Kharkiv governor Oleh Synehubov reported via Telegram messenger.
“The Russians hit the Kupyansk’s civil infrastructure with S-300 missiles after 4 a.m.,” he said.
“According to preliminary data of the law enforcement officers, a woman was killed as a result of the invaders’ strikes at Kupyansk, detailed information is being specified.”
According to Synehubov, a car caught fire after the Russians hit a service station. In addition, the roofs of residential houses sustained damaged.
In addition, the Russian military used artillery to shell the settlements of the Kharkiv, Chuhuiv and Izyum districts.
“Two people were injured as a result of the detonation of explosive objects over the past day: a 52-year-old man in the town of Merefa and a 66-year-old man in the village of Donetske in the Izyum district,” the governor said.
“Both were hospitalized in medical facilities, their health condition is moderately severe.”
Synehubov noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to hold the line despite the constant shelling of Russian troops.
