Russia is planning to take up defensive positions in Crimea, Ukraine's General Staff reported in its daily update on April 20.

About 400 conscripts of Russia’s invading forces in eastern Crimea will be transferred from the Scythian Valley recreational center in Izyumivka to defensive positions in Volodymyrivna in western Crimea, the message reads.

Ukraine will use any weapon allowed by international law to liberate the temporarily occupied Crimea, Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, said.
