Russia has a numerical advantage in the battles for Severodonetsk, but Ukraine still has a chance to win, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said during a briefing in Kyiv, news agency Reuters reported on June 6.

Zelensky said that the overall situation could worsen for Ukraine if Russia makes a breakthrough in Donbas.

The Main Intelligence Directorate under the Defense Ministry has said that Severodonetsk is now the best location for Ukrainian defenders to destroy the enemy in heavy fighting.

Despite the enemy's tenfold superiority in artillery in some areas, Ukrainian troops are gradually driving the occupiers out of the city.
