Russia's military command has decided to drop 3-ton bombs on the Mariupol AzovStal Iron and Steel Works, where the city's defenders and civilians, including children, are hiding, to "raze it to the ground."

This is evidenced by an intercepted phone conversation between a Russian invader and his wife, published by the SBU security service of Ukraine via Telegram messenger on April 19.

"We are waiting for 'surprises' here... 3-ton (bombs) from the sky... They ordered to raze everything to the ground... The lieutenant colonel came and said: you will feel it for yourself, and you will hear and feel it. Imagine what the blast wave will be," he told his wife.

At the same time, the invader seems to have no regrets about the death of Ukrainians.

"Everyone who wanted to, they left. There are only patriots left and those who are very smart," the Russian soldier said.
