Invading Russian forces are planning a new round of mobilization that will affect residents of the occupied territories in southern Ukraine, the Ukrainian military’s Center of National Resistance (CNR) reported on Jan. 2.
Despite statements made by that country’s top officials, they did not stop “partial mobilization,” the CNR says. On the contrary, this is a large-scale mobilization campaign, which foresees no exceptions.
“The enemy is planning a new wave at the beginning of 2023, and it will affect those in the temporarily occupied south of Ukraine,” reads the report.
The CNR says that propagandists are currently preparing the public for closing the Russian borders and isolating the country. At the same time, mobilization measures will be stepped up. In particular, Ukrainians who have received Russian passports are to be called up in the temporarily occupied territories, since the Kremlin will not make any exceptions for the “new regions of the Russian Federation.”
The CNR calls on residents of the temporarily occupied territories to ignore Russia's “passportization” campaign and immediately leave the occupied region so as not to become a resource for the enemy.
