Ivan Sushko, the Russian puppet head of the occupied town of Mykhailivka, 80 km south of Zaporizhzhia, has been killed in a car bombing, according to another local collaborator, Volodymyr Rogov, on his Telegram channel on Aug. 24.

Rogov claims that the bomb was planted under the seat of Sushko’s vehicle.

Sushko was rushed to hospital after the blast, but did not survive his injuries.

Before being appointed as a local “authority”, Sushko worked as a toastmaster at weddings, and as a Santa Claus during the winter holidays.

On Aug. 23, Russian propagandists announced that an assassination attempt had been made on Ihor Telegin, whom the Russians had appointed as the “deputy chairman” of the “Department of Internal Affairs” of occupied Kherson Oblast.

Telegin is said to be close to Kherson puppet head Volodymyr Saldo, who is currently believed to be in critical care after a "poisoning attempt.”
