Russian military hardware is being redeployed in Belarus to a regional grouping of troops closer to the border with Ukraine, the Belarusian Hajun monitoring project reported on the Telegram messenger on Dec. 12.
It is noted Belarus warned about the movement of convoys with military equipment on Dec. 12.
The first column left from the Obuz-Lesnovsky training ground (Baranavichy district, Brest Region). It will move towards the Brest training ground (Brest district, Brest Region).
“As many as 24 pieces of military equipment are being moved closer to the border with Ukraine, including four carriers with T-80 tanks, a mortar battery, communication vehicles, and engineering equipment,” the report says.
Ukraine’s General Staff reported on Dec. 9 that the number of Russian conscripts had increased in the Belarusian cities of Mazyr, Gomel, and Mogilev, while the military registration and enlistment offices of Gomel Region continue to check the conscripts’ data.
At the same time, there are no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups.
