The border district of Khomutovka in Russia's Kursk Oblast has been attacked, regional governor Roman Starovoyt wrote on Telegram on March 6.
Starovoyt reported "damage to energy facilities that caused a power outage to the village of Iskra."
Besides, the governor of Russia's Belgorod Oblast, Vycheslav Gladkov, claimed that three missiles had been shot down over the region.
Gladkov said air defense systems were activated in the town of Novoi Oskol, and a person had been injured in the incident.
The governor claimed there had been damage to some buildings and the electricity supply in several settlements near Novoi Oskol has been lost.
