Russia’s latest massive missile attack kills 11 people, says official

Eleven people were killed and another 11 were injured in a massive Russian missile attack on Jan. 26, the spokesman of the State Emergency Service, Oleksandr Khorunzhyi, said on Ukrainian national television.
He noted the strikes had been recorded in 11 regions as a result of Russian terrorist attacks with the use of drones and missiles.
“Two fires broke out as a result of these strikes,” Khorunzhyi said.
“In total, 35 buildings were damaged, 11 people were injured and 11 people were also killed,” he said.
The spokesman clarified these were data as of 3 p.m.
Early on Jan. 26, invading Russian forces launched 55 air and sea-based missiles against Ukraine on Jan. 26, of which 47 were downed by Ukrainian air defense forces.
According to Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi, the enemy launched Kh-101, Kh-555, Kh-47 Kinzhal, Kalibr, and Kh-59 missiles from Tu-95, Su-35, MiG-31K aircraft and from warships in the Black Sea.
Russia also conducted an overnight attack on Ukraine with Iranian drones, with all 24 being shot down.
