Mobilization in Russia did not yield the results expected by the command of the occupation troops, Ukraine's Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar said at a briefing on Dec. 1.
According to her, from the conversations of the Russian troops it is evident that the attempts of the Russian command to increase the combat potential of the Russian army by using mobilized troops have failed.
Malyar noted that due to the low level of training, losses of Russian personnel — including soldiers with combat experience — are increasing.
She added that this is leading to mass discontent in Russian army ranks.
Earlier, the Ukrainian military’s General Staff reported that Russia is preparing for the next wave of mobilization, which is planned to be held in January-February 2023.
