One civilian was injured after invading Russian forces launched a massive attack on Dnipropetrovsk Oblast overnight on May 26, Dnipropetrovsk regional governor Serhiy Lysak reported on Telegram.
According to preliminary data, military personnel from the Eastern Air Command shot down five cruise missiles and six Iranian-made Shahed suicide drones over the region overnight.
A private house caught fire in Dnipro, while two houses and a car were damaged in the attack, Lysak said. The fire also engulfed two private enterprises. Both fires have already been extinguished.
“A gas station was damaged,” the governor said.
“Its employee was injured. He was provided with medical assistance and will continue treatment at home.”
The Russian army also caused serious damage to a transport company.
Inspection of the territories continues everywhere, and information is being clarified, Lysak added.
Meanwhile, the invaders shelled the Marhanets community in the Nikopol district with drones. No casualties have been reported from the attack.
Lysak also posted photos of the aftermath of the night strike at Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

An air raid alert was triggered in the capital city of Kyiv and several Ukrainian regions overnight on May 26.
All air targets were shot down over Kyiv, presumably Kh-101/555 cruise missiles. At the same time, missile fragments hit a shopping mall in the Obolon district and a private house in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
