Russia continues to shell the neighborhoods of Bucha, a suburb northwest of Kyiv, the local city council reported on Facebook.
“Every day is a struggle for survival. The Bucha community has been deprived of electricity, heat, communications, and Internet for several days,” the message reads.
The city council noted that most residents of the suburb are in basements, and many are asking for help for those who are sick and have not been able to find their relatives for several days.
“The enemy continues to shell houses and cars, kill civilians and even children, as well as looting shops. Delivering humanitarian supplies is impossible: the community is under enemy siege. We need support to stand and survive! Help save the community!” implores the city council.
