Russia shells Orikhiv for 7 hours, 8 injured, ruined houses, power and water outages

Russian shelling of the town Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhya Oblast lasted for about seven hours on Oct. 19 overnight, Oleksandr Starukh, the governor of Zaporizhzhia Oblast, reported on Telegram.
He said about eight people had been injured in the attack, and that there had been water and electrical power outages in the city.
He claimed Russian occupiers used multiple launch rocket systems to attack the town.
All the causualties, who had injuries of varying severity, were hospitalized, Starukh said.
As a result of the attack, individual houses, the town council building, and an educational institution were reduced to ruins. There is still no electricity and water supply in Orikhiv. The utility companies are already working on restoring services.
Russian invasion forces also carried out an attack on the Zaporizhzhya Oblast town of Huliaipole using S-300 missiles, damaging a school. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties in that attack.
The town of Orikhiv is located in a frontline zone and often subjected to enemy shelling.
On Oct. 12 a total of 324 shells were fired at the town.
