The Russian military has attacked a DTEK
(Ukraine’s largest commercial energy company) warehouse full of spare parts and
equipment needed to maintain critical infrastructure in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast,
DTEK said in a Telegram post on Oct. 2.
The company said that as a result of the attack, cables, transformers, and other equipment were damaged. The time of strike is not specified.
DTEK stated that they continue to assess the losses in order to offset them with additional purchases.
“No matter how hard the enemy tries, they will not succeed in disrupting our preparation for the heating season,” the message adds.
Earlier on Oct. 2, Dnipropetrovsk regional administration reported that Russia used artillery and drones to attack several areas in the oblast, damaging residential and industrial buildings.
The Ukrainian military previously reported that several Russian kamikaze drones were downed over Dnipropetrovsk Oblast early in the morning on Oct. 2.
