Russian air strike damages residential high-rise in Avdiivka

A high-rise building has been heavily damaged by a Russian air strike in Avdiivka, Donetsk Oblast, head of Avdiivka city administration Vitaliy Barabash told Ukrainian TV Channel 24 on March 17.
He said Russian forces continue to launch air strikes at Avdiivka and Ukrainian positions around the town.
“There were four air strikes overnight and four more in the morning,” Barabash said.
“As a result, one of the wings of a 14-story building was totally destroyed.”
The official added there were fortunately no casualties in the attack since no residents were in the building at that time.
On March 13, the Russian military attacked the town of Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Oblast with Uragan multiple launch rocket systems. In addition, they launched air strikes at Avdiivka, resulting in one of the missiles hit a local school, where a humanitarian center was set up. One person was killed and another two – injured.
