Russian army loses 710 soldiers killed in last day, nearly 106,000 in 311 days of full-scale war

Since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, Russia has lost about 105,960 of its soldiers, with 710 of them being eliminated by Ukrainian forces in the last day alone, the Ukrainian military’s General Staff said in its morning Facebook post on Dec. 31.

Ukrainian forces also destroyed an enemy helicopter over that last day.

The total losses of the enemy as of the 311th day of the full-scale war, between Feb. 24 and Dec. 31, amount to approximately:

  • personnel — about 105,960 (+710) soldiers killed;
  • tanks — 3,029 (+3) units;
  • armored combat vehicles — 6,075 (+16) units;;
  • artillery systems — 2,016 (+6) units;
  • multiple rocket launchers — 423 (+0) units;
  • air defense equipment — 213 (+1) units;
  • aircraft — 283 (+0) units;
  • helicopters — 269 (+1) units;
  • UAVs of the operational-tactical level — 1,746 (+6);
  • cruise missiles — 711 (+0);
  • warships/boats — 16 (+0) units;
  • automotive equipment and tank trucks — 4,707 (+24) units;
  • special equipment — 180 (+0).
