The Ukrainian military pushed back a Russian assault group near the village of Udy in Kharkiv Oblast, 6km from the northern Ukrainian-Russian border, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on June 25.

The Russian military’s main focus on the Kharkiv axis is to hold their currently occupied positions, the General Staff added.

The Russian military also carried out artillery attacks on infrastructure facilities in the city of Kharkiv itself, and the Vyaliy reservoir.

Invading Russian forces also launched an airstrike from Ka-52 helicopters near the village of Yavirske in southern Kharkiv Oblast.
